In this role, I am helping the people at Mojang to do have all the info they need to do their best work. I have crafted and am now leading the implementation of a communications strategy that is effective, intentional and inclusive.

My closest stakeholders are the local Head of Studio, the Global Chief of Staff and the support teams. I am responsible for managing communications with the overall objective to have a healthy and engaged team at Mojang. The goal for the internal communications role at Mojang Studios is to share info and updates to the team members at the right time, in the right channels to the right audience with an element of surprise and delight.

The scope of the role was global and included marketing, crisis, internal comms, and corporate comms.


I was the Business leader responsible for crafting and managing the global communication strategy for Star Stable Online and franchises in the pipeline. I managed a team responsible for content creation, channel strategy, and community management. I collaborated closely with product teams, marketing, customer experience, BI, and external agencies. We focused on player feedback to provide recommendations for feature development that the community will love.

I developed and executed campaigns that delivered against business and campaign goals with my team. I was accountable for defining what channels we should invest in, how to deliver against our target audience and product needs, and how much we should invest our time, talent, and resources. I was responsible for measuring and growing the reach and impact of these channels for our brands and business. I also managed three agencies, one in Sweden, one in the USA, and one in Germany. I was accountable for budgeting and managing a team of five.
